In Switzerland, we are expecting a fiercy battle in the next years for the access to water resources: from one side, the ski resorts that will need more and more snow to sustain their business, and from the other, the population and its need for water for industry and agriculture. I know that it sounds ridiculous, but I'm not sure the latter will win....skiing is a religious in Switzerland.

Global warming causes mild winters, which cause less snow, so you fly in snow in cargo planes, which increase greenhouse emissions, which causes more mild winters.
