I basically made this site because I wanted an easy way to share this with fellow Reds' fans.

Say hello to WouldYouRead.com!

So, last weekend I decided to give the new ChatGPT API a spin, and I came up with a seriously fun project. I decided to use ChatGPT to come up with book pitches, and I created a website called WouldYouRead.com to showcase them.

Now, I don't know about you, but I barely have enough time in the day to sit down and read. But even so, I absolutely love books, and I'm a sucker for a great back-of-the-book pitch. So, I decided to combine a bunch of AI prompts that I had been working on, and in less than 10 hours of coding, I had a working concept up and running.

Okay, maybe I spent a bit more time than I should have deciding on the perfect presentation style, but I ended up using a similar "typing" style to ChatGPT, and it looks amazing. And now, thanks to the incredible power of ChatGPT, WouldYouRead.com is creating about 120 book pitches every day.

I have a lot of UI work to do on it, but my goal was to get it launched before the end of the weekend and that was a success!

Let me know what you think!

I had a plan for 2020 to invest $25 weekly into ETH but then, well, 2020 really hit.

Since 2020 was kicking me butt (and probably others as well) I decided to be pretty strict on what I spent so I ignored the whole crypto space ... fast forward to 2021 and, well ... what?

So here is a website I created to make me even more depressed.

You can select from about 15-20 different cryptocurrencies, say if you wanted to invest daily, weekly, or monthly in them ... then the website does its magic to show you what you could have possibly earned.

It doesn't take into account trading fees, etc. but gives you an idea of what could have been.

First off ... I don't have a Clubhouse App account. They are so tough to come by ... however I was getting FOMO from all the events that were appearing that I decided to create a quick website (and twitter account) to help my FOMO get even worse.

I quickly threw this website together today so if you have any design feedback please let me hear it.

Hi all! The maker (if you can call me that for this simple URL reformatter tool) of Click to Retweet.

I came up with this quick online tool since I kept formatting the URL format / structure for Twitter's Retweet URL.

I've been working on a lot of projects and having the ability for someone to "click to retweet" has simplified my ability to add tweet amplification to launches.

(and yes, I know the name is really close to another brand but I needed something straightforward that I could remember)

Hi HN'ers!

I quietly launched this new project last night for the selfish reason of needing an easy way to save some of my favorite design mocks / prototypes I've found on Twitter.

Then I realized other people might be interested in it so I thought I'd share it here.

If you want to get a design added to the website, just @DesignFavorites on Twitter to the design and I can work to get it added.

Was doing some research for a future blog post and kept forgetting to bookmark this Tweet so, well, I made a website that showcased it with an easy to remember domain name.

Upvote for that effort (:

Hello all! I'm Scott from Maker Updates and I wanted to announce the launch of our email newsletter, Maker's Digest.

With so much maker news happening on a daily basis it is challenging to keep up to date.

Our hope is that MD solves that problem.

Some of the topics MD will cover:

Project updates such as financials, #OpenStartup data, acquisitions, etc. Project Launches ️ Maker Blog Posts

Let me know if there is any other areas of the maker-verse you'd like us to highlight.

On my "gotta make that happen" list.

trying to think of a way to do something like

https://www.emojifs.com/️🆒 where people can place the emojis in the URL and it will generate the GIF ... just not sure how supported emojis in URLs are.

Hi All!

I'm calling this one of my ugliest MVPs I've ever launched, sorry. I really launched this as a way for me to easily take a script coded by Pieter Levels and shared on Twitter (https://twitter.com/levelsio/status/1060282680338636801) to create GIFs from Emojis and make an easy to use form for myself.
